After several days of conference and workshops we have eventually possibility to visit Icelandic countryside. I took few pics by a mobile phone during the “Golden circle” tour.

Today we took the "Golden circle" tour, which took us to Icelandic countryside. One of the amazing sights was geyser called Strokkur. I took this video by a mobile phone.

Final presentation of LAVA09 conference

We just concluded conference day in the Reykjavik City Hall. Last but definitely not the least were presentations of ADDventures or young creative entrepreneurs and their delightful ideas which really gave the audience creative impulse☺ (MM)

Tuesday in Reykjavik

At Tuesday we met young entrepreneurs, "addventures" at the special workshop. We did warm up and introduction by singing "We will rock you":) Idea of the workshop was to connect creative companies with traditional industry and projects. At this point of the conference we haven`t visit a countryside and nature but that part will come tomorrow. Reykjavik is approximately 120 000 inhabitants city. I found these "Steam horns" (the picture on the left) in the central square. At Monday evening we visited a big outside swimming center in Reykjavik. It was the place where locals go relaxing as well. Swimming outside 2 hours in + 3degrees temperature was really special experience indeed.(MM)

International groupworking

Adventures (young creative entrepreneurs) have assignment to build a paper tower. Purpose of this case was to increase group’s dynamics. (MM)

KTUAS is making a documentary film concerning LAVA09 conference. We have two person camera team with us 4th year student Joonas and 2nd year student Tero. (MM)

Getting know each other

After visiting a couple of very interesting places we came to the City Hall, the main venue of the conference. It was good to get to know the venue a couple of days before the real thing.

It was also the time to introduce ourselves to each other. So we formed a big circle and each one of us told who we are, we we come from and what we do. What an exciting group we are waiting to be unleashed! (Kaitsu)

LAVA09 confrence in Iceland

We arrived late Sunday evening to Reykjavik. Weather was extremely windy and the plane have difficulties in stabilization even it was quite big aircraft. Monday morning our host took us to the old PowerStation. It was under renovation to inspiring surrounding for a creative business in future. (MM)
